The Caldeiras Funda e Rasa Nature Reserve is a Portuguese Environmental Protection Area located in the Mosteiro site, Lajes das Flores municipality, Flores island, Azores Archipelago and is formed by Caldeira Funda Lagoon, Caldeira Rasa Lagoon and surrounding area that owes their origin to the two volcanic boilers where they nest.
The Caldeira Funda Lagoon is 22 meters deep and has a waterfall. Its banks are very high and populated by a large number of endemic plants of the Azorean flora, typical of Macaronesian forests.
The Caldeira Rasa Lagoon has a depth of 16 meters, and is surrounded by low and soft shores, and also the Caldeira Funda Lagoon, on its banks are large settlements of Azorean endemic flora typical of Macaronesian forests.
