Although it is close to Carrapateira, it is called Praia da Bordeira, due to the stream that flows into the south top of the extensive beach.
For years there has been a lagoon between the beach and the tarmac road where children can play freely.
Support services available: Beach volleyball, Parasailing, Surfing, Body boarding, Deep sea fishing, Nudist practice.
How to get there: Taking the direction of Sagres, about 9 km you will find the village of Bordeira on your left, continuing for another 5 km until the entrance of the village of Carrapateira. Then turn right at the first fork and follow this tar road to Praia da Bordeira. If you still continue on the road after tarmac road ends and turn at the first fork to the right you will reach the south top of the beach.
Uncrowded, it is a quiet beach that invites to a restful vacation.
