Albergo San Gottardo
Located at 2108 metres above sea level on the Gotthard Pass, Albergo San Gottardo consists of a historic, protected hospice building from 1237 and a hotel.
Rooms in the hospice building were renovated in 2010 and feature a private bathroom. The basic rooms at the hotel have shared bathroom facilities.
3 restaurants can be found at the Albergo San Gottardo, offering à-la-carte menus, traditional Swiss cuisine and a self-service buffet. Guests can enjoy the mountain views from the panoramic terrace of the property.
Switzerland's highest museum, the National Museum, can be found on site. It shows temporary exhibitions and an insight on Switzerland's history and culture.
Hiking trails start directly at the house and guests can also take a trip on the legendary horse-drawn mail coach from Andermatt to Airolo via the Gotthard Pass.
