The Platz der Luftbrücke is the Berlin traffic junction on the border between the districts of Tempelhof and Kreuzberg. The entrance to Tempelhof Airport is on the square. The name of the square becomes one of the Berlin airlifts of 1948/1949.

At the northern end of Platz Nord the underground station Platz der Luftbrücke of the underground line U6 connection to the express traffic in Berlin. From 1926 to 1937 the station was called Kreuzberg. Access for the property of the airport is on the square.
