The history of the Lisbon Sports Club dates back to 1873, when the British community founded a private club dedicated to various sports. The current 9-hole course was created in 1964 and in 1992 it was extended to 18 holes. The narrow fairways are lined by beautiful trees and abundant vegetation, while a water course marks the presence of much of the countryside. Rabbits, partridges and other birds are also observed, which proves the extraordinary biodiversity of the place. Just 30 minutes from Lisbon, the fairways are cared for immaculately and the area around the terrain remains unexplored, creating a truly natural environment.
