Het in 1976 geopende, bekroonde Oceânico Pinhal-veld is in de loop der jaren verfijnd. Bekend om zijn onberispelijke fairways omzoomd met pijnbomen, slingeren de eerste 9 holes door een exclusief wooncomplex, terwijl de overige 9 holes zich bevinden in een golvend landschap met uitzicht op de zee. Een van de meest opvallende kenmerken van deze cursus is de kleine omvang van de greens, die grote nauwkeurigheid vereisen op het gebied van naderingsslagen. Het meest bekende gat in de Pinhal is de 4e, Par 4, een complex dat boven een klein meer en een golvende green is geschoten.
